Colin: Another strong performance from Colin excellent save near the end
when their striker was through on goal with only the keeper to beat.
Jon Stephens: Jon did all that was asked of him. Won everything in the air
and tackled hard.
Nial: Another good performance from Nial. Linked well again with Tony and
fought hard for challenges.
Tony: (Capt) Good motivation from Tony always shouting and encouraging.
Lots of hard tacking and headers. Made his presence felt in the centre of
the defence.
Ryan: Strong performance from Ryan. Gets better each week
We have got a good foundation now to the back four.
Matt: Played well on the wing made some good runs and tracked back to
support.
Pete: Played midfield first half but in a more attacking role. Worked hard
and his speed really gave the opponents something to worry about. Pushed
up front in the second half and was still a handful. Good header for the
goal.
Holmesy: Strong performance again. Supported the defence and scored a
cracking goal from 30 yards out. Did all that was asked for and more.
John: Looked tired to start with but picked himself up and linked well with
Ryan and Pete. Always looking to push forward. Scored a good goal. Another
good display.
Gary: Finally got his goal. Moved round the pitch and tackled hard. Had
plenty to run on to.
Oz: Should have scored 6 but hey. Scored a cracking goal the trademark Oz
into the corner side netting. Strong performance from Oz worried their
defence and was strong in the tackles.
Subs
Darren: (on for Tony) slotted into the defence well and had some strong
challenges.
Vik: (on for Matt) worked the wing well and was another handful taking on
players.
Ray (on for Gary) Pushed Pete up front. Ray slotted into midfield.
Man of the match goes to Marc for a fantastic goal and great workrate. Well done Marc.
